NameWeave
NameWeave support
NameWeave reviews filename portability risks and builds a proposed path replacement plan.
Get started
Open Sample mode to try the workflow with synthetic local data. Sample results are labeled and remain separate from your live work.
Choose a source folder, select the compatibility profile, and enter a destination prefix if needed. Review proposed replacements and any conflicts in the virtual destination tree.
Understand the result
The app never renames source files. Its profile and optional path budget are compatibility targets rather than guarantees for every Windows application or filesystem. Symlinks, inaccessible paths, and scan limits can leave coverage incomplete.
If access to a selected file or folder expires, choose it again and rescan. Review the latest check time and coverage before relying on a result. Clear local data removes app state and saved access without deleting your source files.

For help, bug reports, or feedback, email lipmichal@gmail.com or open a GitHub issue.
Include the app version, macOS version, the visible result, and the steps needed to reproduce the problem. Use synthetic examples. Do not send private documents, credentials, environment values, dialogue, or sensitive filenames in public issues.
