PermitPeek
PermitPeek privacy policy
Michael Lip provides PermitPeek. Application bundle names, identifiers, versions, signing metadata, entitlement dictionaries, saved folder permissions, and baselines stay on your Mac. The app has no network entitlement and makes no network requests.
PermitPeek inspects static signing information for the main executable of a readable or selected application bundle. It does not run that application, read its documents, monitor its traffic, or upload an inventory of installed software. Saved bookmarks restore permission for bundles you select.
Inspection does not cover embedded helpers, actual network activity, or privacy permission grants. Missing or unreadable information is shown as unknown. Reports are copied only when you choose to copy. You can remove a watched app and its local history without modifying the application bundle. Sample mode uses fictional signing data.
Opening a support or privacy link launches your default browser. The destination website receives the normal browser request and uses its own website privacy policy.
