ShelfDock
ShelfDock support
ShelfDock is a menu bar shelf for files, folders, text, and images you move between apps.
How to use:
1. Click the tray icon in the menu bar to open the shelf.
2. Drag files from Finder (or text/images from other apps) onto the shelf window.
3. Use the search field to filter items by name.
4. Use New Group… to organize items into named groups.
5. Hover an item and use the ••• menu to drag it out, share it, Quick Look it, or remove it.
6. Paste from Clipboard adds clipboard text without a drag.
7. Settings offers Clear items after drag out and Launch at Login (off by default).
Frequently asked:
- Nothing leaves your Mac. The app is sandboxed and has no network access.
- A "Missing" badge means the file moved or was deleted after you dropped it.
- Sample mode shows example items for review and screenshots; turn it off to see your real shelf.
- Shelf data lives in the app's sandbox container. Deleting the app removes it.
