ShelfDock

ShelfDock privacy policy

Michael Lip provides ShelfDock. The app lets you park files, folders, text, and images on a local shelf inside the sandbox container. Item references are stored as app-scoped security-scoped bookmarks in local preferences together with item names, kinds, and add times. ShelfDock does not read the contents of your documents, does not scan your disk, does not upload anything, and has no network entitlement. Remove an item from the shelf to remove its saved reference.

The app opens Quick Look previews and shares items only when you choose those actions. Text pasted from the clipboard is stored locally only when you use Paste from Clipboard. Sample mode shows bundled neutral example items and never touches your real files; leaving Sample mode restores your live shelf. Settings preferences such as clear-after-drag-out and launch-at-login are stored locally.

Deleting the app container removes all shelf data permanently. No accounts, analytics, trackers, or third-party services are involved.

For help, use the support link on the App Store product page. This bundled guide is available offline.
